Alessi Hotel Trattoria, Desenzano del Garda

The hotel's location is simply superb, right at the heart of Desenzano and just a minute away from the port for easy boat trips. The rooms, unfortunately, were a letdown with mixed furniture and a noisy atmosphere due to the nearby restaurant. The service, however, was exceptional with caring and helpful staff members.

The hotel offers a beautiful view of Garda Lake from the rooms, but some aspects like odd furniture and a tiny bathroom can be off-putting. The service is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making the stay memorable. The central location is a major highlight, though parking can be tricky. The dining experience, while attempting to cater to dietary needs, falls short in variety and freshness. Overall, a mixed but enjoyable stay with good value for money.

The hotel offers comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms with a great view of Lake Garda, though they could do with an update. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Arbin in the restaurant, making the service top-notch. Its central location near the lake and town center is excellent, providing easy access to various activities. The dining experience is varied, though some items might be hit & miss. Overall, a pleasant stay with good value for money.
